Samadli Nilay Fuad qizi – The Young Karate Champion
Nilay Samadli, daughter of Fuad, was born in 2016 in Baku. She is currently a 4th-grade student at School No. 7 in the Shusha district.
Since the age of four, Nilay has been practicing Kyokushin karate at the “Khan” Sports Club in Zabrat, under the guidance of her coach Azadxan Qasımov. Initially, she joined for health reasons, but her coach quickly recognized her talent and technical fighting style, encouraging her to compete in tournaments. In her very first competition, Nilay earned second place.
From then on, she began participating regularly in tournaments held in Baku and other regions. Her family has been a strong source of support, ensuring she could attend all competitions and belt exams.
Nilay has competed in events such as the “Victory Cup,” the open tournament dedicated to Independence Day on October 18, the Republican Tournament in memory of Turan Ruatemov, the IFK Kyokushin Karate Championship, the tournament dedicated to Armed Forces Day on June 26, and many others.
She became the Republic Champion among her peers, winning 8 medals (6 gold, 2 silver), 2 trophies, 3 honorary certificates, 8 diplomas, and numerous other awards. Nilay was also honored as the “Best Fighter of Khan Club” and successfully passed belt exams up to the green belt level. She continues her training at the Khan Sports Club.
